In the Spirit of Thanksgiving, I asked local moms why they are grateful to live in Mount Pleasant. In no particular order:

1. Mount Pleasant Mom-to-Mom Facebook group page

No matter what you need to know, these area moms are at the ready 24-7. They are a guiding light for newcomers. – Susan Matthews

2. Beaches

Isle of Palms. A gorgeous beach, not too wildly packed with people. – Gretchen Humburg

Raising both my children at the beach and birthday beach treasure hunts at Dunleavy’s (Sullivan’s Island). – Cheyanne Lake

3. Recreation department sports

We’ve had the most amazing coaches who volunteer their time, incredible facilities, great kid and families. – Kadi McKay Quinn Mount Pleasant Recreation Department

4. Great schools
