Sandal Season in the South

It seems you need only two types of footwear for summer in Charleston – flip flops for the beach and Jack Rogers sandals for everything else. Whether it’s running errands, sipping cocktails or celebrating a wedding, Jack Rogers are not only appropriate they are de rigueur.

Jackie Kennedy kicked them into the fashion hall of fame when she wore them out and about in Portofino, Italy and Palm Springs, California during summers of the 1960s. Channel her timeless style with gold Lauren Raffia Sandal from JackRogersusa.com.

Make sure your toes are just as polished as your look. I’m loving OPI’s New Orleans collection. My favorite is a sea-worthy blue called Sailing and Nail-ing.

Honey is just as sweet for the feet. Keep rough skin and cracks at bay with Savannah Bee Company’s Beeswax Heel Balm. We can’t resist stopping in their shop when we are on King Street. Now you’re ready to step out into the season.
